The Bruins play a team that has proven scorers but may have an issue about its inside presence.
UCLA Tonight
DREXEL
When: 9 p.m.
Where: Pauley Pavilion
On the air: TV: Pac-12 Networks.
Records (2012-13): Bruins 25-10, Dragons 13-18.
Record vs. Dragons: 1-0.
Update: Drexel has the same issue as the Bruins: Will there be enough of an inside presence? Tony Parker is UCLA's hope. Drexel has Dartaye Ruffin and Mohamed Bah. On the perimeter, the Dragons have Chris Fouch, Frantz Massenat and Damion Lee, all proven scorers. Fouch was granted a sixth year of eligibility after being injured in the fourth game last season. Freshman Rodney Williams is Drexel's top incoming freshman. UCLA is relying on the core from last season, minus point guardLarry Drew II and Shabazz Muhammad. There is more depth with freshman class Bryce Alford, Noah Allen and Zach LaVine. Wanaah Bail, a refugee from Texas Tech, is recovering from knee surgery and forward Travis Wear is sidelined because of appendicitis.
