In a game that was neck-and-neck deep into the second half, Oregon State pulled away from UCLA and ultimately defeated the Bruins, 79-66, at Gill Coliseum on Sunday evening. The Bruins grabbed their first and only lead of the game, 47-46, with a little more than 11 minutes left in regulation. But Warren Washington quickly answered back with two points and sparked the Beavers into controlling the rest of the second half. Stephen Thompson Jr. and Ethan Thompson both led OSU with 17 points each, while Kris Wilkes tacked on 21 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Bruins.
