USC's explosive second half lifts the Trojans past UCLA, 80-67, on Saturday afternoon at the Galen Center to improve to 3-2 in Pac-12 play. After entering the second half leading by three, the Trojans picked up steam and outscored the Bruins 44-34, led by Bennie Boatwright and Nick Rakocevic with 21 total points each. Rakocevic also grabbed 12 rebounds to earn his eighth double-double this season. The Bruins scored 10 unanswered points in the last minute of play, but it wasn't enough to top the Trojans. UCLA's Prince Ali and Jaylen Hands finished with 15 points each.
