Michael Roll Named UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Senior guard led UCLA with 17 points at the Wooden Classic.

Senior guard Michael Roll (Aliso Viejo, CA/Alison Niguel HS) of the UCLA men's basketball team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Dec. 7-13.

Roll led UCLA in scoring with 17 points (7-for-14 from the field and 3-for-6 from three-point range) against Mississippi State in the 16th Annual John R. Wooden Classic on Dec. 12 at Honda Center. He also added a career-high six rebounds (five defensive) to go along with two assists against the Bulldogs. Roll leads the Bruins in scoring with a 14.0 average. He is also the team's assist leader, averaging 4.1 per game.

This is Roll's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and second of his career.
