LOS ANGELES -- UCLA center J'mison Morgan will be out for at least two weeks after partially tearing his quadriceps muscle in his right leg during practice.

The school announced Wednesday that the sophomore reserve will miss the Bruins' three-game homestand, which begins Saturday against USC.

The 6-foot-10 Morgan has played in 13 games off the bench, averaging 2.0 points and 1.2 rebounds. He played in 21 games as a reserve last season.

UCLA (7-9, 2-2 Pac-10) already has depleted frontcourt depth after forward Drew Gordon left the school last month to transfer to New Mexico.
