After a rash of injuries during the first practices of the season, the UCLA basketball team seems to be getting back on its feet and back on the floor.
Center J'mison Morgan (left knee) and guard Malcolm Lee (concussion) returned to action this week. Morgan was limited to non-contact drills today and will be re-evaluated tomorrow.
Forward James Keefe, recovering from a shoulder injury, has also been practicing with full contact.
Only three players sat out today's session: guard Michael Roll (right ankle), point guard Jerime Anderson (left groin) and forward Brendan Lane (left ankle).
All three are expected to return by Monday, two days before the team's first exhibition game against Concordia at Pauley Pavilion on Nov. 4.
6 days till tip-off.
