Game Notes: UCLA improved to 6-2 in eight all-time meetings against USC at Galen Center (building opened prior to the 2006-07 season) … the Bruins’ 83 total points are the most scored by any UCLA team in eight games played at Galen Center … Norman Powell registered at least 20 points for the first time this season and for the third time in his career … Powell’s eight field goals are the most by any Bruin in one game played at Galen Center … through the last four Pac-12 weekends (since Jan. 15), Pac-12 road teams have compiled a 9-31 record – UCLA has three of those nine victories (at Colorado, at Oregon and at USC) … this marks the first season since 2009-10 in which either UCLA or USC has swept the regular-season series in men’s basketball and won the football game (USC last accomplished that feat in 2009-10, and UCLA earned that sweep previously in 2006-07) ... Kyle Anderson has become UCLA's first player since 1994-95 (Charles O'Bannon) to record at least 200 rebounds and 100 assists in one season (Anderson has 201 rebounds and 153 assists, while Charles O'Bannon finished that season with 201 rebounds and 101 assists).
