Steve Alford has compiled an incoming class ranked No. 10 by ESPN.com

LOS ANGELES – The UCLA men’s basketball program has received a signed National Letter of Intent from Jonah Bolden during the spring signing period, it was announced today by head coach Steve Alford.
Bolden, a 6-foot-9, 205-pound guard/forward from Sydney, Australia, joins 6-foot-9 forward Kevon Looney, 7-foot center Thomas Welsh and 6-foot-10 forward Gyorgy Goloman in committing to the Bruins.
“We are thrilled to add a player of Jonah’s caliber to our program,” Alford said. “Not only is he a talented young man, but he’s also very coachable, has great character and will immediately add to our team’s depth. Bringing in Kevon, Thomas, Gyorgy and now Jonah, and I think you have to include Isaac Hamilton in this group after his year off, it’s safe to say we are excited about this group.”
Bolden, rated the No. 31 player in his class by Scout.com, led Brewster Academy (Wolfeboro, N.H.) to the National Prep Championship this season. In addition, he helped guide Brewster to the NEPSAC Class AAA title in a 68-63 win against New Hampton (N.H.). Bolden is also rated the No. 62 player in his class by Rivals.com, No. 69 by ESPN.com, and has been listed as the No. 6 power forward by Scout.com.
Prior to enrolling at Brewster Academy, Bolden attended school in Australia and competed at the Australian National U18 Junior Championships. Playing for New South Wales (NSW) Metro, Bolden led his squad by averaging 18 points and 13 rebounds per game in the July 2013 tournament.
