SERIES VERSUS USC
This is the 230th meeting between UCLA and USC with the Bruins leading the series 128-101. UCLA is 61-20 (.753) against USC at home since 1947. UCLA leads the all-time matchups in Pauley Pavilion 37-9 (.804). Last year, the 15th-ranked Bruins handed unranked USC a 76-60 defeat in Pauley Pavilion on Feb. 4, 2009. Josh Shipp led a quartet of Bruins in double figures with 19 points. Alfred Aboya had the game's only double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Jrue Holiday and Nikola Dragovic scored 13 and 12 points, respectively for UCLA, which swept the regular season series. The Bruins defeated USC at Galen Center 64-60 on Jan. 11, 2009. However, USC upset the Bruins in the semifinals of the Pacific-10 Conference Tournament in Staples Center 65-55 on March 13, 2009. Head Coach Ben Howland is 9-5 all-time against USC.
